The CIRIMAT laboratory (UMR CNRS 5085) gathers 10 teams of research in the field of materials synthesis and characterizations. It was granted with the Label CARNOT of the ANR in 2006, recognizing the CIRIMAT activities and efforts to partner with industry. The group at CIRIMAT combine expertise in solid-state chemistry and in electrochemistry.The work is focused onto the synthesis and characterizations of new materials for Li- and post Li-ion batteries like Na-ion (P. Rozier). The group has also a strong background in the electrochemical characterization and modification of nanostructured materials for Li-ion batteries and Electrochemical Capacitors (B. Daffos, P.L. Taberna, P. Simon).
