EUROMAT is a premier international conference in the field of materials in Europe. The EUROMAT2017 conference will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 17 – 22 September 2017 (euromat2017.fems.eu).

We are invited to register for the next ALISTORE meeting which will take place on December 13-14, 2016 at CEZAMAT (Centrum Zaawansowanych Materiałów i Technologii) located at Poleczki 19 in Warsaw. The center is approximately 3km far from the Chopin Airport.

The Royal Society of Chemistry's Energy Sector is organizing their "2nd Chemistry in Energy" Conference, to be hosted by the University of Sheffield on 17-19 July 2017. This follows the success of the 1st conference at Heriot Watt University last year.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scientists and technologists from academia and industry with interests in the applications of Chemistry in the Energy Industry, and intends to embrace all aspects of energy–related research, where chemistry and the chemical sciences play a key or underpinning role in solving the UK’s combined energy challenges of carbon emissions, energy costs and security of supply.
The scope of the conference is intended to be broad and will include all energy forms and technologies.

In the framework of the biannual meeting which was held 14 and 15 June 2016 in Brussels, on the morning of the first day, the Research Federation ALISTORE welcomed Julie Girling, Member of the Environment Committee in the European Parliament to chair a debate with the scientists responsible (academic and industrial members) on the topic of green energy storage technologies and battery of the future.
In the afternoon and on the second day, after this enriching discussion with Julie Girling, the biannual meeting pursued its normal course with the scientific presentations of the academics to the Industrial Members….

Despite the terrible past events in Brussels, life must go on, we are pleased to announce that the next ALISTORE-ERI bi-annual meeting on 14-15 June is being presented to you as a very special event. For the first time in the ALISTORE-ERI’s history, a Member of the European Parliament, Ms Julie Girling MEP, will honour our meeting with her presence and participation in the first part of the two-day programme. This is a great opportunity for the ALISTORE ERI to enhance its visibility and demonstrate to her, the important activity which we undertake in the European Science scene. During the programme, we will be highghting the battery and energy storage research and development activity being undertaken in the ERI to a Politician at the European Parliamentary level. We would like to thank, in advance, all the ERI research academics and the industrial Club member representatives who have accepted the invitation to actively participate in this part of the meeting in order for us to strongly attempt to make it a success. If everything goes well, the first morning session will pan out as follows :

Please find attached the programme together with the Registration file for the ALISTORE Battery Modeling & Advanced Numerical Simulation School which will be held on July 4-8, 2016 at LRCS, 33 rue Saint Leu - Amiens.
We will welcome 20 participants maximum. Registrants will bring their own laptops to the school. The hands-on sessions will use freeware provided by the lecturers.
The registration fee amounts to 450 euros (VAT included, 375€ excluded). This includes participation to lessons, printed documents, coffee breaks, lunches and diner on Thursday.

The first edition of the Sustainable Energies and Neutron Scattering - SENS2016 - will be organized in Bordeaux from the 30th of May to the 1st of June.
SENS2016 conference aims at highlighting topical scientific activities in the investigation of energy relevant systems using neutron scattering and to generate new applications. The SENS conference will give the opportunity to reinforce the bridges between the neutron experts and the energy communities.
