ENAM
ENAM RESEARCH GROUP – DEPT. OF CHEMISTRY

The ENAM (Electrochemistry and Nanotechnologies for Advanced Materials) research group focuses on the study of electrochemical energy storage and conversion technologies (Li-ion, Li-O2, Li-S Na-and CaIon batteries, H2-fuel cells). The ENAM research group is born from Bruno Scrosati’s school (retired in 2010, Italgas Prize in 2004, President of the Electrochemical Society 2003-2004, President of the Italia Society of Chemistry, 1997-998), established in the 70s of the XX century. Our strengths and expertise are (a) operando diffraction and spectroscopic studies on electrodes and interphases; (b) synthesis of novel nanomaterials, crystalline materials, and ionic liquids; (c) advanced electrochemical techniques; (d) computational modeling coupled to experiments.
