Whilst the themes provide focal points, one of Energy Lancaster's strengths is cross-disciplinary research, incorporating expertise from related domains to create unique and synergistic outcomes. Within the Energy Storage theme, our research focusses on rechargeable batteries, fuel cells, electrolysers, and power-to-gas technologies. Our research activities spread from fundamentals all the way to real-life and larger-scale applications.
